Frosty golden tan and light olive with sea-green overtones. There is a small puff of darker brown in the field before the coronet and another under star 7 plus some darker toning nestled between the upper points of star 1. Possibly recolored but the surfaces are lustrous. Some tiny contact marks are visible under magnification including a half dozen very light nicks in the field before the portrait. Late die state with obvious die rust covering the lower half of the portrait. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#2 honors in the Noyes census, his photo #25432. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
