Frosty light to medium brown and chocolate. The surfaces are satiny in protected areas and the only marks are a small area of darker chocolate toning (not carbon) at star 3 and another in the field before the face plus some similar toning at TED. Only trivial contact marks, mostly on the chin and in the field below, plus a small tick on the jawline at the throat. MDS with microscopic flowlines in the fields. The neck is covered with tiny lumps from die rust and the center dot on the reverse is tiny but visible. Graded AU50 Choice and tied for CC#3 in the Noyes census, his photo #27895. Our grade is AU50+, very close to AU55. There are no mint state examples known by EAC grading standards. Comes with a great provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
