Frosty light to medium steel brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the obverse highpoints. Satiny luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent has excellent eye appeal. A small splash of darker steel brown toning on the O in OF is the best identifying mark. E-MDS. There are fine die flowlines in the fields, the overdate feature (2 over 1) is bold, and fine repunching is visible on the 18 as well. Looks mint state but there is a touch of rub on the highpoints. Called AU55 net AU50 and tied for CC#7 in the Noyes census, his photo #35238. Our grade is AU55. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Nancy & Bryan (Yamasaki) Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
