Choice frosty medium chocolate brown and steel with lighter brown toning covering the fields and protected areas on the reverse. A very nice example of this tough variety. Smooth with only trivial contact marks and light friction on the devices. The notable marks are a small streak of lighter brown toning in the hair left of the hair bun, a thin nick at the lower point of star 6, and a puff of reddish brown toning in the leaves below the N in UNITED. MDS. There is a slightly raised cud break at NITED nearly to the adjacent S. Graded EF40 and tied for CC#6 in the Noyes census, his photo #28172. Our grade is EF40. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Comes with a nice provenance.
