1817 N-8 R2 AU58Lustrous medium brown with frosty lighter golden brown and tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. Satiny and sharp with great eye appeal, just a light touch of friction on the highpoints. The best identifying marks, and they are barely visible, are a tiny rim nick over the E in UNITED and another right of the second S in STATES. Nicely struck E-MDS, die state a. All the stars have full radial lines and the fields are just starting to show flowlines. The shallow low spot that forms under star 5 is just starting to show and there is no trace of the "Mouse" break on top of the head. Struck with the reverse slightly misaligned to K-1. Called AU55 net AU50 in the Noyes census, his photo #28020.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex Anthony J. Terranova 4/1988 (at the EAC Convention)-Herman Halpern, Stack's 3/16/1988:320-Anthony J.
