Frosty olive brown and steel with reddish brown toning in protected areas, mostly on the reverse. The only notable marks are some small specks of very shallow verdigris inside the wreath. The fields are satiny and this cent has very nice eye appeal. The obverse is not as sharply detailed as the reverse, as always, since the obverse die was well worn before this die pairing began. M-LDS, Grellman state c, with a strong "Mouse" break resting on top of the head and die cracks from the portrait, the strongest one from the outer part of the hair bun to the dentils over star 10.
