1817 N-5 R3 PCGS graded MS62 BrownGlossy chocolate with lighter olive and steel brown on the reverse. Faded mint red covers the protected areas on the obverse and mint luster shows in the fields and protected areas. There is a trace of light friction on the highpoints and a few trivial marks including a line of very tiny ticks down the jaw and a light diagonal nick over star 4. Nicely struck E-MDS, die state b early. The dentils on the obverse are clear but only about half of the dentils on the reverse are visible. All the stars have full radial lines. Noyes photo #37182.
