Covered with light to moderate roughness, strongest on the left half of both sides. No verdigris but there are a few contact marks including a small but obvious dull dig at the right bottom of the O in ONE. Slightly glossy steel brown and light chocolate with peeps of lighter brown in protected areas on the obverse. Rare terminal die state with a raised cud break connecting the top of TATE to the rim above. The right end of this cud is raised higher than the left. Our grade is net G6. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
