Attractive lustrous bluish steel and light olive with at least 10% of the mint color remaining visible on both sides. A choice cent except for a spot of very shallow carbon on the upper part of star 9. MDS. The die line that connects the bases of the I & C in AMERICA is visible and obvious die lap stone lines show at the dentil tips at the bottom of the reverse. A very nice cent, most likely from the Randall Hoard that contained numerous examples of this variety. Our grade is MS62+, close to MS63. The attribution and Ahumada provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
