1817 N-10 R1 PCGS graded MS65 BrownLustrous light chocolate with lighter brown in protected areas. Light bluish steel overtones show on both sides, the reverse is a few shades lighter than the obverse, and there are some small spots of lighter brown toning scattered over the obverse. A small spot of darker chocolate brown toning on the left upright of the N in CENT and another at the right top of the I in UNITED are the only notable marks. MDS, die state c, with a tiny rim cud break connecting two dentils at star 2 and several small die chips down from the dentils right of the second S in STATES (apparently caused by a small screw that damaged the reverse die during this marriage). Called MS63 choice and CC#1 in the Noyes census, his photo #28838. Bland says MS60 and tied for CC#4. Our grade is MS62.Certificate Number: 36577.65/83246176Pedigree: Ex John P.
