Lustrous mint red fading to light steel brown with at least a third of the obverse and 90% of the reverse retaining bright original mint color. The only notable marks are a puff of steel brown toning over star 13 and a few specks of fine carbon including one close under the ear lobe and another over the right side of the N in CENT. M-LDS with a rim cud between stars 11 & 12 in addition to the earlier ones at stars 8-10+. The reverse is rotated 45 degrees clockwise relative to the normal head-to-foot die orientation. Most likely from the famous Randall Hoard of mint state cents discovered shortly following the US Civil War, but this is a really nice one. Our grade is MS63+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
