Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with hints of reddish chocolate in protected areas on the obverse. Smooth and attractive, just lightly worn. Only a few minor contact marks including a thin horizontal nick in the field right of star 3, a couple more in the field off the chin, and a few more over the N in ONE. Otherwise choice. MDS with narrow rim cuds from star 8 to star 11 and a faint die crack through the top of TED. A very nice example of this tough die variety. Graded VF35 and CC#6 in the Noyes census, his photo #26624. Our grade is VF35. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS Gold Shield label.
