1810 S-285 R2 PCGS graded AU58Glossy medium steel brown and light chocolate with frosty lighter brown and tan in protected areas. Hints of very faded mint color are visible in a few places on the reverse, and this cent has really nice eye appeal. The only notable marks are a half dozen tiny spots of planchet slag under NE in ONE, as struck, and a tiny nick at the right end of the line below CENT. MDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks on both sides and a light die crack through stars 11-13 and the adjacent 10. Graded EF45 net EF40 and tied for CC#12 in the Noyes census, his photo #26010. Our grade is EF45. Comes with a note from Denis Loring stating "Without a doubt the most beautiful circ Turban I've ever had the pleasure of owning." Ownership may inspire a bit of hyperbole, but this really is a nice cent.Certificate Number: 36484.58/61275954Pedigree: Ex James R. McGuigan-Denis W. Loring-Fred H.
