Double Struck over Off Center Obverse Brockage. Rather glossy chocolate and dark steel brown. The surfaces are covered with extremely faint roughness but there is no verdigris. The only contact mark is a dull dent at the bottom of the wreath. Double struck. One strike was normal and centered on the planchet. The other is a 75% off center obverse brockage. An arc of dentils from the brockage impression shows at stars 3-7 and the incuse "09" is visible at stars 6 & 7. The only evidence remaining of the normal off center strike is a star near the rim left of the U in UNITED. The circle inside the 0 feature is clear in spite of the low grade.

AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 15% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
