Lustrous light olive and steel brown with 5% of the obverse and 25% of the reverse showing mellowed mint red. A beautiful piece with trivial marks; a spot of dark toning at the dentils over the first A in AMERICA is the only notable defect. Nicely struck E-MDS, Manley state 1.0, with clear dentils around most of the obverse. Struck with the reverse rotated 25 degrees CCW. Graded MS60 and tied for CC#5 in the Noyes census, his photo #73212. Our grade is MS62+, close to MS63. Housed in an older generation PCGS holder with a green label.
