Frosty tan and light brown with puffs of slightly darker steel brown toning on both sides. Peeps of very faded mint color can be seen on both sides and this piece has very nice eye appeal. Looks mint state but there is a hint of friction on the very highest points of the devices. The only defects are some microscopic planchet chips in the field off the end of the bust, a tiny scratch in that same area, some extremely faint hairlines hidden in the hair over the ear, and a small planchet flake high over the A in HALF. Sharply struck EDS, Manley state 1.0, Fuhrman state 2, with sharp dentils and traces of fine die rust in the fields. Our grade is AU55. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.

AUCTION TERMS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
2. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not submitted in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
3. All sales are payable in U. S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots will not be released to buyers until paid for in full. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful mail bidders.
5. A 20% buyer’s fee will be added to all invoices.
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been mis-described.
7. Lots will be available for viewing during the Houston Money Show bourse hours January 17, 2020 and by appointment.

Lots will open at one increment above second highest mail/phone bidder. Bidding will proceed as competition dictates with the lot either selling to the floor or to the mail/web bidder at one increment above the second highest bid.
