Lustrous light to medium steel brown with peeps of faded mint red on both sides, mostly on the reverse. Satiny mint frost covers this piece, even the highest points of the devices, and it has outstanding eye appeal. Just a few trivial marks including a couple very faint hairlines from the eye brow into the hair left of the eye and a couple tiny specks of carbon at the numerator. There is a tiny piece of slab debris in the hair below the B and another at the top of the B. Reholdering would eliminate the debris, but that would eliminate the OGH Rattler holder. MDS, Manley state 3.0, Fuhrman state 3, with a die crack through the top of LIBERTY and another up from the top of that L to the rim above. The Spiked Chin feature is clear. Our grade is MS62+ but this piece has the eye appeal of a higher grade. Housed in a small PCGS slab, the popular OGH "rattler" type.
