Date: 1804The obverse is choice lustrous golden tan with hints of underlying mellowed mint red and satiny surfaces. The reverse is a relatively dull mix of reddish chocolate and olive brown. Traces of microscopic crud and carbon can be found on the reverse, mostly over CA in AMERICA. A tale of two coins. LDS, Manley state 3.0, Fuhrman state 3, with flowlined fields and very few dentils remaining on the reverse. Our grade is MS63 for the obverse, AU55 for the reverse, overall AU58+. The Eliasberg provenance is noted on the older green PCGS label.1063.64/4486310Ex Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr., Bowers & Merena 5/20/1996:421 (as MS63)
