Lustrous tan with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. Satiny mint frost covers this cent and it has outstanding eye appeal. The only marks, and they are trivial, are a short hairline scratch on the neck and a few specks of darker toning on the obverse. MDS with fine radial die flowlines on the reverse. A very nice example of the variety, one of only a few known in a mint state grade by EAC standards. Noyes photo #85053 which was taken from a plate in a catalog. Our grade is MS62. This cent comes with a nice provenance that has been traced back well over a century. Housed in an older generation PCGS slab. (The slab is scratched on the obverse)
