1802 S-240 R3 VF30Mostly glossy light olive brown and chocolate with areas of lighter brown on both sides and hints of reddish brown in protected areas on the reverse. Looks smooth but a glass reveals extremely fine roughness in the reddish areas on the reverse. A shallow planchet flake on the neck and another at the base of the O in OF are the best identifying marks (both as struck). M-LDS, Breen state III late. The die crack up from the bust is clear and it reaches the rim before the eye. Graded VF30 and tied for CC#4 in the Bland census.
