1798 S-182 R4 Small 8, Style II Hair PCGS graded VF30

Chocolate brown and steel with lighter brown in some of the protected areas. No roughness or verdigris, but the gloss is subdued by a thin layer of oxidation. The notable marks are a couple minor scratches off the upper end of the hair ribbon and a dull one on the shoulder. There is a small piece of crud (probably slab debris) in the hair left of the neck (easily removed if cracked out of the holder). MDS, Breen state II, with die clashmarks. Graded VF25 net F15 and tied for CC#15 in the Noyes census, his photo #36713. Our grade is VF20. Comes with a nice provenance.
