Date: 1798Rather glossy steel brown and chocolate. Late die state with fine roughness from die rust in the fields on the obverse, and this roughness is mixed with similar extremely fine "post-striking" roughness on both sides. The only notable mark is a thin stain of dark olive brown toning on the lower part of the reverse. LDS, Breen state IV, with two strong die cracks through the 98. The date is bold and the single leaves at the top of the wreath are clear. Our grade is net AG3, and it is quite nice for the grade in spite of the imperfect surfaces. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label.7719885
