1796 S-118 R5+ Draped Bust VF20+Glossy light olive and medium brown. Smooth and attractive with light wear, but there are some marks. A short, light scratch near the dentils above the bust, a rim bruise left of the lower curls, and a dig at the left end of the wreath ribbon are the only notable defects. LDS, Breen state II, with a clearly defined rim cud left of the denominator. Graded VF30 net VF20 and tied for CC#3 in the Bland census. Noyes says VF30 net VF20 and CC#3, his photo #25369. An important example of a very tough die variety.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex John P. Young, M. H. Bolender 9/8/1951:70-Willard C. Blaisdell 9/1977-Denis W. Loring 2/1978-R. S.
