1796 S-101 R5- Draped Bust EF40Choice glossy chocolate brown with frosty lighter brown and tan in protected areas. Smooth with light wear on the devices and great eye appeal. The only notable mark, and it takes a good glass and the right light angle to see, is a very light scratch along the profile from the forehead down to the bust. M-LDS, Breen state III early, with very light die cracks on both sides. Graded EF40 and tied for CC#2 in the Bland census. Noyes says VF35 and CC#3, his photo #26093.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex W. E. Johnson 1/1971-R. E. "Ted" Naftzger, Jr., New Netherlands Coin Co. 11/14/1973:419-Denis W.
