1795 C-4 R3 Punctuated Date ANACS graded VF25
Choice glossy medium brown with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The surfaces are smooth with satiny mint frost covering the protected areas. This piece has outstanding eye appeal. The surfaces are consistent with a higher grade piece, but the portrait and center of the reverse are not fully struck, which is normal for the variety. The only mark is a tiny planchet flake at the dentils over the T in UNITED, as struck. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with subtle but obvious swelling in the field before the portrait. The date is bold and the "punctuated date" feature is obvious. Our grade is VF35. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label.

TERMS OF SALE
1. The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse to honor any bid which, at his sole discretion, he feels is not in good faith. The auctioneer may withdraw any lot, without prior notice, for any reason whatsoever.
2. The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. In case of dispute the auctioneer may at his sole discretion reopen a lot. In all cases the auctioneer’s decision shall be final and binding on bidders.
3. All sales are payable in U.S. funds immediately upon receipt of invoice unless other arrangements have been made prior to the sale. Lots delivered in state of sale are subject to all applicable state and local taxes unless appropriate permits are on file with us.
4. Postage will be added to the invoice of all successful bidders wishing for their lots to be shipped.
5. A 20% Buyers Fee will be added to all invoices. Additional 4% charge for Paypal payments (24%).
6. Please keep in mind this is not an approval sale. All sales are considered final. Sales to the floor may not be returned for any reason save authenticity. Sales to mail bidders are final unless lot proves to have been misdescribed.
7. Lots will be available for viewing by appointment.
8. Mail or phone bids will be accepted up through the day of the sale. All bids will be reduced. Lots will open at one bid increment above the second highest bidder mail bidder. Bidding will proceed as competition dictates with the lot either selling to the floor or to the mail bidder at one increment above the second hist bid.
9. The consignor may bid or place a reserve bid on their own lots. Any lots repurchased by a consignor will be announced as a pass. Principals of the auction firm may consign or may bid on coins in the sale.
