Date: 1794The obverse is sharper, the reverse weaker, perhaps a 5+/3 split. Covered with very fine roughness but no verdigris. There are some marks including a vertical nick in the hair at the shoulder, an obvious pit or planchet void in the field close off the chin, and a small rim bruise left of the lowest curl. Rather glossy chocolate and olive brown. The date and LIBERTY are clear and about two-thirds of the legends on the reverse remain readable. M-LDS, Breen state III. The crack from the end of the pole is strong. Our grade is net AG3+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.35657.04/38415376Ex McLaughlin & Robinson #4326:157-Daniel W.
