1794 S-29 R2 Head of 1794 PCGS graded AU58Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with slightly darker steel brown on the highpoints. Lightly worn and choice except for some microscopic hairlines on the obverse and a barely visible speck of carbon on the neck. Otherwise quite nice and the eye appeal is outstanding. EDS, Breen state I, Heck state 3, before any trace of a die crack at the R in AMERICA. The fields on the reverse are smooth and slightly reflective thanks to the new die used for this variety. Graded EF40 by Bland. Noyes says 45 net 35, his photo #39040. Our grade is EF40. Comes with a an old, complicated provenance.Certificate Number: 35552.58/57538482Pedigree: Ex Robert Colton Davis, New York Coin & Stamp Co. 1/20/1890:2525-Charles Steigerwalt-unknown (possibly Henry C.
