1794 S-21 R3 Head of 1794 PCGS graded MS62+ BrownChoice frosty light reddish brown with steel brown toning on the highest points of the devices. The surfaces are smooth and satiny with virtually flawless surfaces; just a light touch of friction on the highest points from mint state. A tiny, very light rim nick over the right side of the L in LIBERTY is the best identifying mark, and it is barely visible. MDS, Breen state III, Heck state 3, with a fine die crack from the B to the cap and fine die clashmarks on both sides. Our grade is AU50+, very close to AU55, and it comes with a superb provenance.Certificate Number: 35528.62+/57538477Pedigree: Ex Dr. Edward Maris-Edouard Frossard Collection, Frossard 10/2/1884:853 (as UNC)-T.
