Glossy chocolate brown and steel. No corrosion or verdigris, but the obverse is softly struck, as always on this variety, with a mixture of tiny planchet chips and small nicks covering most of the portrait. However, the legends are complete and easily readable, much better than most of the variety. The reverse, in contrast, is smooth with strong devices and no marks. The best way to identify this piece is from the large curved planchet clip. Can't miss this one. The bottom of the date is very slightly off the planchet but what remains is strong. The attribution and Twin Leaf provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
