Glossy reddish chocolate brown and steel. Lightly burnished and nicely retoned. Looks smooth but there are tiny chips scattered over the fields and protected areas and a fine fissure through the hand on the staff. A pair of fine scratches in the field before the chin are the notable contact marks, but they are not distracting. Nicely centered with the reverse rotated 100 degrees CCW. Weight 144.1 grains. An attractive, nicely detailed example in spite of the flaws, and it comes with a great provenance. The attribution and Robert M. Martin Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
