Glossy olive brown and chocolate with lighter steel brown on the highpoints. There are minor planchet chips in the hair and the opposing globe but overall this planchet is quite nice. Lightly worn with only trivial contact marks. A tiny rim nick at the second N in CONNEC is the best identifying mark. Struck very slightly off center to K-6. The date and legends are bold. Clearly superior to the Taylor and Perkins examples; at least equal to the Miller-Ford piece. Clearly in the condition census for the variety. Weight 149.4 grains. The attribution and Robert M. Martin Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. (The holder is scratched.)
