Mostly glossy medium brown and chocolate with hints of mahogany in protected areas. No corrosion or planchet flaws, just light contact marks. The notable marks are a couple very dull, light marks on the cheek and a light vertical scratch at the right edge of the nostril. Struck off center to K-4.5, as usual on this variety, but this one is a bit farther off center than most. In addition there is a straight-edge planchet clip at NEC and the opposing ET L(IB). The date is bold. Late die state with a wider crack at the A in AUCTORI than on the Ford, Taylor, and Perkins examples. Superior to the Miller-Ford example of this very rare variety. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
