An ET LIR variety. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Weakly struck on the lower left quadrant of the obverse and the opposing upper right quadrant on the reverse, the weakness effectively eliminating details in those areas. Small planchet chips cover the weakly struck areas and there are some small fissures on the cheek and neck as well. Otherwise the surfaces are smooth and the only mark is a very tiny bump on the edge at K-11 on the reverse. Late die state, much later than the Ford, Taylor, and Perkins examples, with obvious swelling at the feet of the seated figure. The date is complete and clear. Struck with the reverse rotated 90 degrees CCW. The attribution and Twin Leaf provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
