Choice glossy light to medium chocolate brown. Smooth and quite attractive with light wear on the highpoints and virtually flawless surfaces. Two barely visible fissures behind Britannia's head are the only flaws, and they are barely visible. Late die state with die cracks on both sides and obvious swelling on the reverse, particularly behind Britannia's head. Struck slightly off center to K-12 leaving the lower edge of the date off the planchet. Otherwise the date and legends are complete and strong. A beautiful Connecticut copper and it comes with a nice provenance. Weight 127.0 grains.
