Unevenly struck with some areas showing VF30 details and others with hardly any details at all. In general the left sides are strong, the right sides weak. Looks like the die faces were not axially aligned (die faces not parallel). The weakly struck areas are covered with the usual tiny planchet chips but no significant flaws; the rest of the planchet is nice and smooth. No verdigris and the only mark is a short scratch hidden in the drapery folds of the effigy on the obverse. Later die state with swollen areas on both sides. The 787 is strong while the 1 is weak but visible. Struck with the reverse rotated 60 degrees clockwise. Comes with a nice provenance. Weight 139.3 grains.
