Attractive glossy light brown on the devices, olive brown in the fields and protected areas. The two-tone color accents the details and this piece has great eye appeal. Smooth and nearly flawless, just lightly worn. The only flaws are a tiny planchet void in the field behind the head of the seated figure and a shallow depression at the bottom of the neck where there was not enough planchet metal available to fill both that spot and the opposing bust of the seated figure. Nicely centered with a bold date and legends. Later die state with a small cud break reaching inside the dentils at the top of the reverse. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
