Choice glossy light gray and steel blending to darker gunmetal gray in protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and show a hint of reflectivity in the fields. No marks, just a hint of friction on the highest points of the devices from new. Struck in Germany to commemorate the signing of the Peace Treaty of Hubertsburg that took place 15 February 1763 at the Hubertsburg Castle (the castle is depicted on the reverse). This treaty ended the Seven Year's War between Prussia, Austria, and Saxony. A very nice example of this rare medal that was designed by Leonard Oexlein. Diameter 44.5mm, weight 338.2 grains.
